Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and Minister for Local Government Mr. Arshad Ayub Khan launched the “Green Peshawar Tree Plantation Campaign 2025” organized by Peshawar Development Authority and planted a Cher Pine sapling at the Chief Minister’s House.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur said that the aim of this tree plantation campaign is to have a positive impact on our environment and create a sustainable future for Peshawar. Our region is facing various challenges including environmental degradation, air pollution, heat waves and loss of biodiversity, which can be mitigated through tree plantation.
Furthermore, DG (PDA) briefed the Chief Minister and the concerned authorities on all the arrangements and preparations regarding this tree plantation campaign.
